Allocarya lealiformica - south edge of Pear Orchard near corral at Little Oak - good specimens in [lab]. taken some years ago. Corolla white, with yellow eye, this promptly fading out to white the second day. [Processes] in throat almost none.

Peucedanum retriculatum, Araquipa Ibillo, in fl. no spurs taken. Bractlets of the involucre 7 to 10, narrowly linear to spatulate, acute or acuminate. - Mar. 15, 1900.

Sanicule bipinnata - plant rather past flowering; bractlets 5 more or less, lanceolate, very small, odor like S. tuberosa.

This surpasses anything which I have seen in many years. Spring is just bursting and great blocks of country are as white as if with snow - just bloom-laden plums and prunes.
Valley Black Douglas Oaks are taking on faint shades of green, yellow and red; the leaves will grow into dark and darker shades as the summer lengthens. Mr. Buckeye, however, full of his new-born pride, puts on his very darkest coat to begin with but he'll get withered
