3_28 Inverness, Feb[ruary] 15, 1900 Fritillaria lanceolata - No. [Number] 502B This is quite different from the Checker Lily about Berkeley. Perianth segments very deeply concave, green mottled above the base. Gland deep green, ovate-lanceolate, very sharply defined, placed in concavity in middle of segment but distinctly nearer base than apex. Flower 1 inch long, segments 1/2 inch broad. |
