Fritillaria lanceolata - No. [Number] 502B
This is quite different from the Checker Lily about Berkeley. Perianth segments very deeply concave, green mottled above the base. Gland deep green, ovate-lanceolate, very sharply defined, placed in concavity in middle of segment but distinctly nearer base than apex. Flower 1 inch long, segments 1/2 inch broad.

Fine grove between Inverness and Inverness school: 500 or 600 yards long; 50 yards wide; trees quite thick.
