32_137 April 9, 1916 [Coolgardie Yucca Mesa] Yucca brevifolia: See bottom of page. Old Yucca tree on west side. 2 limbs wired: a._End of leaves in direct line 2 ft. 2.25 inches from wire knot on top side, measuring to bud in direct line, on that side. b._End of leaves 1 ft. 2.5 inches from knot in wire, measured on under side. Tree about 350 yards south of group of young ones measured and recorded on p. 136. p. 136. Yucca brevifolia. Young trees wired at or near ground and measured to top of simple stem. The measurement indicated gives the distance from the knot in the wire to the tip of the upstanding leaves. The point where one turns off the road northerly is marked by a blaze on |
