The desert mountains are the great charm of the Mohave. 10 May 1914. - Acacia gregii. Streambeds in Ord Mt. 6 to 16 ft. h. trunks 4 to 13 inches diam. at 1 ft. Utterly leafless still! Presents a strange appearance with its winter aspect at this season. Roughly fissured light brown bark broken into somewhat interlaced ribbon-like strands 3/4 to 1 in. broad. No. 5926.
