Comp. bush. 2 to 2 1/2 ft.h. Each stem throwing out long thorny or spiny branches like proliferous shoots , and in abundance.

Very abundant on the desert this year. Noted all the way from Hesperia to Barstow. Well-developed and often forming low round mound-like plants 8 to 12 in diameter and 1/3 to 1/2 as high.

Abundantly in bloom and fruit this year, the plants 14 to 22 inches high.
