Thousand Palms Ca_on
Mendocino hillside. It was a beatiful spot in a desert land. Grass, water, wood and just beyond the ever gaunt mystical desert ranges.
In Thousand Palm Ca_on there are, roughly estimated, about 350 trees in lower grove and 220 in upper grove, 1/2 mile n., and maybe 20 in all in a scattered lot in the east of lower grove, say 600 in all. At Willis settlement there are about 275. Edom [Block] Station S. P. is about 3 miles west of south of Willis' ranch.
