Cor. clear levely yellow; style branches 3, horizontally spreading. Tube cor. dark purple away down. Sandy wash. Pleasant Valley.
= Linanthus aureua (Nutt.) Greene.
- Pholisma arenarium. Abundant through all this country.
- Franseria dumosa has disappeared (Pinos Well).
- Mohave "China Rice Grass coming in here last 3 years plenty, can almost mow it in Pleasant Valley" - man at Pinos Well.
= Oryzopsis hymenioides Ricker.

No. 5984. Lotus rigidus Greene. Shrub 1 1/2 to 3 ft. h. Banner 1/2 longer than wings, wings 1/2 longer than keel (twice longer beyond calyx). Cor. [corolla] yellow,turning to brown-purple, the banner changing last, much later than the other parts which change together. Summit Cottonwood Mts. = Lookout Mt.
No. 5985. Ericameria cuneata var. spathulata, Hall. Dark green shrubs 2 to 4 ft. h. in [clefts] or rocks on south slope of Cottonwood Mts. towards Pleasant Valley.
No. 5986. Eriogonum fasciculum var. flavoviride
1 to 1 1/2 (or 2) ft. h. Heads very numerous, stem bunches compact, herbage very green, light bright green. These are the particulars in which it differs from the ordinary form. Pinos Well.
