is only about a month at the beginning and end of each season when the individual placer miner can work. The Guggenheims have brought in water sixty miles by flume and work two shifts in the long summer.
--Dr. Herbert M. Evans, one of my students, formerly a student assistant in my laboratory, who has made a name for himself at Johns Hopkins, in anatomy, visited be last Friday. He is a professor at Johns Hopkins.
