[Tamalpais] No. 5713 Rhamnus californica typica C. B. Wolf Telegraph Canon, Berkeley. Pickeringia montana. Roots were taken out from rather small plants which were one inch thick, tapering gradually downward for two feet. cont. from p. 46. Arctostaphylos glandulosa Eastw. no 5711-- Stump sprouting rather vigorously on Mt. Tamalpais in the burned district. The sprouts have many toothed leaves! but the shoots are now developing entire leaves just above the toothed ones. See no. 5711 above. See p. 57. |
