28_40 Monterey [November 30, 1913] are 20 to 40 ft. [feet] high. -felled at the Del Monte propagation glass houses. A lot of stuff is propagated. 28_41 [Monterey] November 30, 1913 afternoon and on Sunday morning drove over the 17-mile drive, and cut across on foot from one of the driveways to the Cupressus goveniana grove; thence to Carmel and Carmel Mission.
