Berkeley, Mar '13 ---------- - Eriogonum tripodum Greene. Based_ on Indian Valley, Lake Co. D. Cleveland 1 July 1882 which is an exact match for Hinglis Springs, Lake Co., M.K. Curran, July 1884, type. Perianth very hairy outside 2 to 3 lines long, its segs. oblong. Fils. hairy on lower part. Invol. very broad and short, 1 1/2 lines long, turbinate-bowl shaped, its teeth recurved, short and small. _ That is, the notes of dissections here. - E. sphaerocephalum Dougl. Per. very hairy outside, 4 lines l., the stipe-like base almost as long as upper portion. Fils. hairy on lower half. Per. segs. obovate, obtuse. -- Based on Yreka, Butter 1428.
