Berkeley, Mar. 1913 ---------- - Eriogonum gossypinum. Perianth 3/4 line long, obscurely puberulent, the outer segs. narrowly oblong or spatulate, the inner linear, acuminate at apex, a little longer than the outer -- Fls. at least 6 or 7 to an invol. -- Davy, Kern Co. material. - Eriogonum thomasii Torr. Perianth saffron-yellow, a shade less than a line long (3/4 to 1 line), the outer segments ovate, cordate at base and with a pair of lateral pockets or inflations near base; inner segments linear-spatulate, a little longer than the outer segs.
