26_118 Lower Palo Verde Valley ---------- arch was rather broad for adobe but it stood the test. He laughingly said: "I live close to nature's heart and I wanted the moon window. Then it seemed to me I wanted something different at the other end of the room and yet the effect of the crescent arch was very fine. So I decided to have a 14-day moon at the west end as the east end was a 7-day moon." And sure enough he did it. He talked so much to his builders about having things like nature that one of them constantly went him one better. |
