- Cercocarpus parvifolius, a small scraggly tree but without character as an adult tree. So far as I notice the tree form does not differ from the bush form. It shows a disposition to produce new upright shoots from slow down on the trunk. While there is no difference between the terms tree and shrub, there is still a broad distinction which is so useful that is must be maintained.

- Rhamnus ilicifolia. Fruit a very beautiful bright crimson color.

- Prunus subcordata, 4 to 8 ft. h.
