21_58 Ukiah -Cardamine integrifolia whitens fields of wheat. Is increased by cultivation! -Calochortus lilacinus(?) = C.[Calochortus] uniflora is likewise increased by plowing and harrowing. There are a number of such native plants that have been helped by civilization and settling up of the country. -Cupressus macrocarpa at Selby place, Fair Oaks, San Mateo County. The avenue of them is a very fine one because the trees have grown old enough to acquire individuality. |
21_59 March 26, 1910 -Juglans californica, line of trees ran along the road leading east towards Talmage from the Russian River bridge.
