-Cardamine integrifolia whitens fields of wheat. Is increased by cultivation!
-Calochortus lilacinus(?) = C.[Calochortus] uniflora is likewise increased by plowing and harrowing. There are a number of such native plants that have been helped by civilization and settling up of the country.
-Cupressus macrocarpa at Selby place, Fair Oaks, San Mateo County. The avenue of them is a very fine one because the trees have grown old enough to acquire individuality.

-Juglans californica, line of trees ran along the road leading east towards Talmage from the Russian River bridge. They had to be removed on account of injury to the roadway from shading.
