- Eryngium articulatum Hook. Bees will gather 100 lbs to the hive between now and end of season. Yes, there is a lot of it in the low lands along the sloughs western Sacramento Co. - M.C. Richter. It has a very disagreeable odor - strong as and like unto ammonia.
