No. 4076. Purshia tridentata DC. Low spreading bush, scrubby habit. Pets. [petals] pale yellow, filmy.
No. 4077. Allium bidwelliae Wats. = A. campulatum Wats. Hot Springs Valley. Per.[perianth] segments pale pink, the lighter base with a flare of darker pink in the middle of it. Crests black, notched so, very conspicuous, thin, spreading.

Corolla pure white, crests in throat very conspicuous.

No. 4082. Grass. Panicum thermale Bolan. = P. lanuginosum Ell. var. fasciculatum.
Growing in the hot earth about the hot springs at the Devil's Kitchen, the moist earth in which its roots grew so hot that I could not comfortably hold my hand in it.
