= Redwood Tree in Colonel Freeman's garden, n.e. corner Ridge Road and LeRoy Aves, Berkeley, set out in Feb. 1905, a young nursery tree about 5 years old. It is now 16 feet 5 1/2 inches tall. It grew 6 feet 4 inches in the season of 1907 to date. Circumference of stump 2 ft. above ground = 11 inches.
= Big Tree, planted same date, the two of about the same size as nearly as can be remembered. Height = 6 ft. 8 1/4 in. Circumference at 2 ft = 7 1/4 ins.
