them to take it up as an experiment, we to send it down in various forms. They would not touch it. I remarked that they were in a rut, used to handling Eastern oak, and suspected you might be trying "to do them" in some way. Now that the government is behind the proposition they are beginning to set up and take notice and take an interest in the experiments, wishing to be informed as to how it comes out.
