Norris Basin to Upper Basin
The Devil's Ink Pot is the most interesting thus far. It fills up in about twenty minutes, increasing in violence with great acceleration as the cone becomes nearly filled. It then splashes up and about and overflows the calcareous rim. Then Berly Pool, an exquisitely beautiful circle with emerald green bubbling water, a noisy steam vent behind it. Next Lower Geyser Basin with the great Excelsior Geyser, a huge bowl which hasn't played since '81(?) Also the exquisite Prismatic Lake. Then Middle Basin. Next Biscuit Basin. Then Upper Geyser Basin.
