Pt. Reyes, Inverness, Olema Marin Co. [county] while the garden gate was moved 16 1/2 ft. away from the front of the house door where it was. In the barnyard a gate was moved away from its latch post leaving a space which was filled by another gate. Three Eucalyptus globulus trees pollarded were moved along without disturbing their erect position. One was brought opposite a fourth which stood on the opposite side of the rift a few feet away. The rift itself averaged about 3 or 4 ft. wide, and in places it was open and I could jump down into up to my waist. Cont. 10 pp. ahead.
