15_28 Kew Herbarium Hindsii our most beautiful species, 16-20 ft. circ. being common sizes. Platanus generally branching from the root. "Good collectors or accomplished Botanists resident in the state"? I can say unfortunately, No. Dr. A. Kellogg has described a number of new species but is resident in this city and does not collect to any extent. H.G. Bloomer Esq is an amaetur much interested in Botany but does not collect.
