15_140 Basle bundles are in open piegon holes. They have a scheme for storing maps of small size, a modification of the drawer system. An end piece or lid lets down, exposing the pigeon-hole which is filled by a drawer with an open end so that any map may be pulled directly out. The bottom of the drawer has cut out two (or ? 1) handpulls. The garden is small but is closely cultivated and the greenhouse utilities are many. The collection of plants is fine and varied.
