14_44 London Hort. Soc. = Hartweg's Letters and Journal. His letters from Mexico (Guanaxuato, Leon, Aguas Calientes, San Luis Potosi, Bolanos, Real del Monte, Guatemala) and S. America (Lima, Quito, etc.). There are 72 letters in vol. 1 beginning with No. 1 "On board the Montezuma, Liverpool, Oct. 6, 1836, the day of sailing and ending with No. 72, Bogota, Mar. 31, 1843.
