14_145 June 15, 1906. - Lobb, collected a curious lot of things in Cal. His C. lobbianus (Ceanothus), Veitchianus, floribundus, leucodermis, etc. are just off the usual thing but wont stay set. They will prove enigmas a long time. The last is a marked thing. There he has a Ceanothus, no. 152, (C. macrocarpus, with huge leaves and dense clusters of floweres. Ran. Lobbii. Oregon. - Pinus albicaulis, first collected by Jeffrey. - Pinus Jeffreyi. Collected next after Jeffrey by Peebles on Scot's Mt. - Jeffrey, cf.
