12_26 Vacaville, August 29, 1904 - Soil Samples. No. 1, at 1/2 feet dark loam No. 2, at 3 1/2 feet, clayish loam No. 3, at 5 1/2 feet, adobe or black clay These collected in peach orchard, Vacaville, in west part of town. Samples given to Longbridge, June, 1905. Also No. 4 Wild Horse Canyon, at 4 feet, early apple orchard, Vaca Mountains. __ If your trees you'll recollect Stop a moment and reflect Spruces pendent, pine erect That's a rule that is correct |
