Berkeley, June 9, 1904
- A party of children came into the Berkeley Station from the hills with their arms full of flowers. One girl had her arms around a bunch of Brodeaia laxa - about 400 plants! This was about May 14.
- Brass buttons first plan to come up on the reclaimed mud flats about Oakland!
- Mr. Deane of Australia, an associate of Maiden, visited Berkeley today, June 7. He looked over one collection of Acacias and Eucalypti with interest. As to the height of Australian Eucalypti, he said none had been measured in excess of 320 feet and that none doubtless exceeded 340 feet. Mr Hoger.
