No. 61. Tan Oak. Trees 60-80 ft and 1 1/2 2 1/2 ft. diam. Spm. taken at 5 ft had shed its ross! Six mi. s. Kenny's No. 62. Ross from same tree -- ross about ready to fall; has fallen just below. No. 63. Picea Sitchensis; near Noyo. Tree 80 ft. high, the trunk 2 ft. diameter at 3 1/2 ft. from ground. On bluffs one-half mile from Pacific Ocean. W.L. Jepson, June 28, 1903. No. 64. Tsuga heterophylla Sarg. Tree 115 ft. h. and 3 ft. diam at 4 ft. where spm. was taken. Noyo River, 15 mi. inland from Ft. Bragg. June 27, 1903. Tree on s. slope, near bottom of canon.
