HabitatNarrow canyon surrounded by steep slopes, mostly of sedimentary rock. Vegetation on slopes mostly scrub of Salvia leucophylla, S. mellifera, Eriogonum fasciculatum, and Artemisia californica. Riparian elements such as Salix lasiolepis, S. laevigata, S. exigua, Baccharis salicifolia, and Populus fremontii developed along stream channels.
