HabitatOn soft decomposed granite along dirt road cutbank; steep east-facing slope opening through forest of canyon live oak, Douglas-fir, deerbrush, Styrax officinalis, poison-oak, Clarkia mildrediae. Flowers 'large,' very bright white; anthers dark maroon.
