HabitatAt recently burned area at edge of moist Mixed Conifer forest. In dry soil with Mimulus layneae, Melica harfordii, Penstemon laetus var. leptosepalus, Clarkia rhomboidea, and introduced spp. such as vulgaris and Lactuca serriola.
