Locality High North Coast Ranges. Coffee Mill Flat, along Road M1 8.2 road km north of Road M61.

HabitatLarge open meadow with Ponderosa pine dominated mixed conifer forest on southeast side and Oregon oak woodland on northwest side; several very large Ponderosa and Jeffrey pines around the edges; strip of willow shrubs along southeast edge; wet middle of meadow dominated by Carex pachystachya (10462), C. subfusca (10463), C. athrostachya (10464) and Poa pratensis (10465). Flowers small, white; in bare wet spots in middle of moist meadow, bare due to hoof trampling of ground.
