Notes | The California material of Palustriella appears to be a complex array of ecological forms based on water chemistry and habitats. Many of the specimens identified to Palustriella commutata as of 2008 were misidentified plants of several other species, and we do not trust the 2004 vouchers. The herbarium needs work here. Quite possibly this is species that barely enters California. |
