Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that, according to Dave Keil (Family Editor of Asteraceae and Author of Chrysanthemum [as treated in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1]] for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]), in 1998 the genus name Chrysanthemum was conserved with a different type to preserve its usage for the garden chrysanthemum (which had been placed in Dendranthema when Chrysanthemum was broken up), so that taxa treated in Chrysanthemum in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] 1 must and will have different names in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]: Chrysanthemum coronarium L. = Glebionis coronaria (L.) Spach; Chrysanthemum segetum L. = Glebionis segetum (L.) Fourr.; and Chrysanthemum carinatum Schousboe = Ismelia carinata (Schousboe) Sch. Bip. (Ismelia is monotypic).
