a Hrusa et al., ms later published in Madrono 49(2)61-98. 2002: DISTRIBUTION: ScV, CCo, SnFrB.; STATUS: turf weed.; NOTES: Rapidly spreading perennial capable of competing and establishing by seed in mature turf. Not yet seen in taller mowed turf, or in wild situations, but expected there. Easily overlooked due to diminutive stature. Native southern Mexico to Boliva, apparently at elevations above 3000 m.
