Mey. (Index Seminum [St. Petersburg] 2:42. 1835), and that Chandler published the same combination in Botanical Gazette 34:104 (1902), eight years later and superfluously. [Therefore, author citation corrected to Nemophila menziesii Hook. & Arn. var. atomaria (Fisch. & C. A. Mey.) Voss, from Nemophila menziesii Hook. & Arn. var. atomaria (Fisch. & C. A. Mey.) Voss in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] (as well as The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1]), and that although evidence presented in the paper supports recognition of the taxon at the level of species, the name Nemophila atomaria Fisch. & C.
