Muell. ex Boulay, both often considered synonyms of Rubus armeniacus Focke; the treatment in Flora North America also states that until a much needed genetic study is performed on a wide selection of the plants in this group, the precise identities involved will remain elusive, and that Rubus discolor Weihe & Nees is a synonym of Rubus ulmifolius Schott, not of Rubus armeniacus Focke as indicated in this Index and elsewhere. | |||||
