Tokyo 15:135 (1901), where he ascribed the name to Breitenbach (Breitenb. in Authors of Plant Names), who had given earlier (Botanische Zeitung 37:687. 1879) Pinellia ternata only as a synonym of Arum ternatum, an action that does not constitute valid publication of a new name according to ICBN (2000) Art. 34.1(c). [Therefore, author citation corrected to Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Breitenb. ex Makino, from Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Makino ex Breitenbach previously in this Index, 28 Sep 2004.] | |
