(Botanical Register 15:sub pl. 1293. 1837); and that the epithet "uniflora" [therefore] was published [in this context] twice, independently and based on two different types, so that Ipheion uniflorum and Brodiaea uniflora will be treated in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] as taxonomic synonyms but not nomenclatural synonyms.
