Kings River Basin. Ca. 72 km NE of Fresno (FSC), 870 m S of Black Peak, Sierra National Forest, Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, in a meadow at the headwaters of Helms Cr.
South Dinkey Lake near headwaters Dinkey Creek (lowest trib. of N. Fk. Kings River) about 1 mile N of 10,435 -10,612 Three Sisters Ridge. Lake faces out N beneath 400-500 cliff.
8750 West Lake, just N of lower end of ridge leading down WNW from 9984 Red Mountain; 3 1/2 map miles SE of Huntington Lake, West Lake and a series of swampy meadows and ponds drain SW into N Fork Tamarack Creek.
