Los Angeles Basin: Verdugo Mountains Region: South side: At end of Olive Ave, parked on Via Montana, in city of Burbank. Follow an old road that is overgrown so that a faint trail is all that is left of this road. The old road goes up to the main crest with Sunset Canyon to the west and Story Canyon on the east.
San Gabriel Mountains: north of Sylmar, 0.1 mi. NNE (6 deg ) of Stetson Debris Basin, at north end of motorway at powerlines, west (250 deg ) of the debris basin in Sombrero Cyn., 0.4 miles north of I-210 Fwy.
San Gabriel Mountains: near Sylmar, Wilson Canyon Park, from the mouth of eastern fork of Wilson Cyn. (at Wilson Debris Basin) to 0.5 miles east (upstream), below Natl. Forest boundary.
San Gabriel Mountains; Arrastre Canyon, near Acton. Started at the junction between Arrastre Canyon Road and Moody Truck Trail. Surveyed slope between both roads. Follow the creek and slope beyond where Moody Truck Trail crosses the creek. Northeast side., Slope only.

Northwest side. Verdugo Crestline Dr. (fire road) just north of the 210 freeway, enter on the west side at Topley Lane, off of Newhome Ave. in city of Sunland.
Southwest side. A west-east trending ridge southwest of Flint Peak. Entered at west end, at Mount Carmel Drive, east of the (2) Glendale freeway., Between Chevy Chase Drive (Sycamore Canyon) to the north, and Glenoak Blvd. (Scholl Canyon) to the south.
Ridgeline to Mt. Emma and canyon south of this ridge. West from Mt. Emma (northwest trending ridge, lower part of ridgeline starts to turn southwest.) East of Mt. Emma Road., Near 34.45864N, 118.08684W to 34.46310N, 118.07530W. Than dropped off ridge into canyon bottom back to origin.
