Annual, delicate; ± sparsely strigose to ± glabrous.
Stem: erect or ascending, 2–30 cm.
Leaf: 2–9 cm; leaflets 7–17, ± spaced, 3–16 mm, lanceolate to obovate, glabrous adaxially, tip notched or pointed.
Inflorescence: dense; flowers 2–12, spreading.
Flower: petals pink-purple, banner 5.2–11.8 mm, recurved 35–40°, keel 3.4–6.4 mm.
Fruit: reflexed, 6–50 mm, 1.7–3.5 mm wide, ± narrowly lanceolate, straight or curved, openly grooved on lower side, glabrous, stiff-papery; base ± stalk-like or not; chambers ± 2.
