NATIVE
Annual; sparsely minutely strigose, hairs often ± black above. Stem: decumbent to erect, 4–30 cm, generally slender. Leaf: 1.5–5 cm; leaflets 5–13, 2–12 mm, narrowly to widely ± obovate, tips generally blunt or notched. Inflorescence: head-like; flowers 2–10, spreading. Flower: petals pink-purple, wing tips paler, banner 7.2–12 mm, recurved ± 40°, keel 3.8–8.1 mm. Fruit: ascending, 15–57 mm, 2–3 mm wide, narrowly linear, ± round in ×-section, tapered to a narrow, sharp beak, finely strigose, papery; chambers ± 2; ovules 8–20. Seed: pitted.
