Shrub; dioecious. Flower: small, clustered in leaf axils. Staminate flower: hypanthium rotate; disk lobes alternate with stamens. Pistillate flower: hypanthium urn-shaped, ± closed distally; disk lobes 8, ± meeting above ovary; stigma cap-like.
