Description

Collection locality: Panang, Malaysia
Elevation: 350 meters
Substrate: open to partial shade, dry, on ground on thin roots

Collection information:
Wall 3890
The oldest stretch of forest in the world. Taman Negara means "national park" in Malay. It is vast, lush and well removed from industrialized civilizations. Accessibility is primarily by boat- a 3 hour battle up the Tembling River (excessively strong current).
