Description

Collection locality: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Elevation: 66 meters
Substrate: Open shade, meso dry, on nodes of bamboo

Hutan Lipur Katching "Tampler Park"- Well developed relatively pristine rainforest. Tall trees surrounding various waterfalls (beautiful!)- lots of trash, however, despite the 1,00RM fine warning! Another reserve within the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur. Relatively pristine with large stands of bamboo. 20km from Kuala Lumpur

Collection site
This specimen was collected in Malayisa.The micro-undulatum clade is restricted to the western expanses of the geographical range of Mitthyridium. It is found in Peninsular Malaysia west to islands of the Pacfic Ocean, specifically the Seychelles and the Comoros. It is often found on trees like coconut palms below 300 m. The clade's closest relative is obtusifolium, its Pacific Ocean counterpart that is far more restricted in geographic range.
