Description

Collection locality: Viti Levu, Fiji
Elevation: 200 meters
Substrate: On fully shaded tree

Collection information:
Wall 2495
Colo-i-Suva Forest, Viti Levu, Fiji. About 20 miles outside Suva. This is a relatively pristine forest, although once dominated by agriculture making most of it secondary. Nonetheless, it is far enough from the city that it remains protected from extensive pollution. It is convenient for both tourists and locals as a simple bus ride getaway. The trees are large, diverse, and loaded with mosses. Habitat is mostly wet, the forest itself part of watershed.

Collection site
This specimen was collected in Fiji.This clade is found in Malesia, Australia, and has undergone (is undergoing) a rapid radiation in the major islands of Fiji. undulatum is a among the most abundant in Mitthyridium where found and is often found on trees below 500 meters.
