Collection locality: Upolu, Samoa
Elevation: 300 meters
Substrate: On base of tree trunk with 50% shade.

Beautiful rainforest, precipitous cliffs with a 300+ foot waterfall -- amazing, near center of island.

Collection site
This specimen was collected in Samoa. This clade is the most widespread in Mitthyridium though rare where found. Its range extends from the Malay Peninsula east to Tahiti
