Syrrhopodon involutus PHOTOS

The following photos all feature Syrrhopodon involutus, and were taken during my fieldwork in French Polynesia. The photos should provide a good impression of the general habit of S. involutus colonies found in French Polynesia. Note that the substrate of choice for S. involutus in French Polynesia is definitely the coconut palm, Cocos nucifera, although I did occasionally find colonies growing on dead branches or dead portions of trees (like the one in the photo on this page).
