DISTRIBUTION The Syrrhopodon involutus complex is distributed throughout the paleotropics, and has been reported from: Africa (Zaire, Comores, Madagascar, Nosy Be, Reunion, Seychelles), Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Malaya, Singapore, Philippines, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Moluccas, New Guinea, Solomon Is., Mariana Is., New Caledonia, Society Islands, Tuamotu Islands, Santa Cruz, Fiji Islands, Samoa, Caroline Islands, Austral Islands, Australia, and New Zealand (Cook Islands).
